We currently have an open position for a short-term assignment of 5 months in our department Back-Office Trading, to assist our team in areas such as settlements of transactions across all major global markets,
Monitoring of corporate actions and reconciliations of accounts at custodian and clearing platforms.
Job description
- Post-trade monitoring and settlement of a wide range of financial instruments;
- Account reconciliations on custodian and clearing platforms;
- Analysis and resolution of reconciliation differences;
- Contacts with brokers and custodians to resolve outstanding operational issues;
- Gather, analyze corporate actions information from custodians and prepare Corporate Actions Notifications for clients;
- Interact professionally with our Financial Markets and Customer Support teams on any topic related to back-office operations;
- Assist with tax filings, where needed.
Profile
- Excellent knowledge of financial instruments and financial markets and be able to understand complex operations and analyze them;
- Back-office experience in a financial institution with global exposure of minimum 3 years, preferably in areas related to trading, settlements and corporate actions;
- Good understanding of financial intermediaries such as clearing houses, stock exchanges, custodians and fund providers;
- Quick learner with positive attitude to integrate smoothly in a large team;
- Focus on detail and precision;
- Good knowledge of French, Dutch and English.
