What is the basic banking service?

Any private individual legally resident in the European Union has the right to hold at least one current account; this is what is known as a basic banking service. At Keytrade Bank, the basic banking service is free of charge and includes a current account with an associated debit card. The authorised transactions are:

• cash withdrawals via debit card
• money transfers
• standing orders
• direct debits
• and the completion of payment operations using a payment card or similar device

Cash deposits are not possible at Keytrade Bank. Any other transaction will be rejected.
