Product Owner Credits

Keytrade Bank (Brussels Region, Belgium) is currently looking for a Product Owner Credits.

DESCRIPTION
As Product Owner Credit, you play a key role in shaping and delivering the strategic vision for credit products at Keytrade Bank. You actively contribute to the evolution of our mortgage and consumer loan offering to support our ambitions in the Belgian market.

You work within a dynamic, multidisciplinary team (developers, testers, business analysts, UX/UI designers), translating business needs into concrete solutions, piloting MVPs, and planning delivery.

Your mission is closely aligned with the Head of Credit, with whom you co-develop the vision and roadmap. This strategic collaboration ensures that initiatives are relevant, impactful, and anchored in long-term business priorities. You also interact regularly with internal stakeholders (Comex, IT, marketing, risk, compliance, legal and other Feature Teams) and external partners.

You ensure that each initiative is analysed and prioritised based on clear business value and a cost/benefit logic, while identifying operational, financial and technical risks early. With your proactive mindset and ability to build consensus, you help drive continuous improvement and innovation across the credit journey.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define and maintain the credit products’ vision and roadmap in close collaboration with the Head of Credit.
• Prioritize initiatives based on strategic alignment.
• Lead or coordinate preliminary risk assessments (operational, financial, IT) and identify interdependencies.
• Translate product goals into IT deliverables, define MVPs and manage release planning.
• Engage constructively with internal teams and external partners to ensure the quality of the delivery for the end users, often our clients & prospects.
• Drive alignment across stakeholders including Comex while keeping the product direction anchored in the credit strategy.
• Monitor product performance and propose enhancements to increase impact and efficiency.

PROFILE & COMPETENCIES

• Fluent in English. A good command of French and/or Dutch is an asset.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in banking, ideally in credit.
• Around 10 years of total professional experience.
• Comfortable working in an agile, tech-enabled environment with strong data affinity.
• Strategic thinker, results-driven, and confident in challenging ideas and guiding decisions.
• Skilled communicator with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
• Able to build strong, trust-based collaboration with key partners, particularly the Head of Credit.
