What are the costs, taxes and minimum amount?

How much does KEYPRIVATE cost?

KEYPRIVATE has an all-in tariff of 0.91% per year (incl. VAT). You will not pay any custody fees, exit fees, etc. As a banking institution, Keytrade Bank is legally obliged to account for taxes separately. This means that you have to pay the tax on each purchase or sale transaction that KEYPRIVATE carries out in your name.

What about taxes? As a bank, we are legally obliged to account for taxes separately. This means that for every purchase or sale that KEYPRIVATE makes for you and in your name, you are obliged to pay taxes on that transaction. This tax is a combination of a tax on stock exchange transactions (TOB) which is applied by the bank when buying and selling trackers in the portfolio (currently 0.12% for equity trackers and bond trackers on the amount of the transaction up to a maximum of EUR 1,300 and 0.35% for commodity trackers on the amount of the transaction up to a maximum of EUR 1,600) and a withholding tax of 30% on the capital gain realised on the sale of bond trackers.

These taxes are applicable to so-called retail clients residing in Belgium. These taxes and the tax treatment of specific trackers may change at any time. We will of course keep you informed of any changes. What is the minimum investment amount?

To make our portfolio as accessible as possible, the minimum investment amount is set at EUR 15,000. We have decided not to go below this starting amount in order to ensure that we have enough assets per tracker and therefore can efficiently organise the cash to be invested.
