How can we help you?

Managing your personal data

Keytrade Bank asks all clients to keep their personal data correct and up to date. This helps us comply with legal obligations and ensures the security of your accounts.

How can you update your personal data?

Updating your data is simple:

  • Via the app: More > Settings > Personal details
  • Via the transaction site: Profile > Preferences > Personal details

Check your information, make any necessary changes, and save them. Once received, Keytrade Bank will process your updates. In some cases, we may ask additional questions.

Which clients need to update their personal data?

All clients must update their data, whether they are an account holder, joint account holder, or authorised representative on a Keytrade Bank account.

Do minors also need to update their personal data?

Yes. We are required to hold correct and up-to-date personal data for minor account holders. We will ask their legal representative to provide this information.

Does every account holder need to update their own data, even if they have granted a power of attorney to a third party?

Yes. Even if you have granted a power of attorney to a third party to manage your financial matters, you remain responsible for updating your personal data using your own login. An authorised representative cannot do this on your behalf.

Can a joint account holder update the data of all account holders on a joint account?

No. Each account holder must log in separately and update their own personal data. If one account holder fails to update their data, Keytrade Bank may block the joint account for all account holders.

When will Keytrade Bank ask you to provide or update your personal data?

  • When you become a client of our bank.
  • When your details change (for example, a new ID card, change of address, etc.).
  • When we periodically review this information as part of our legal obligations.

What happens when you do not update your personal data?

As we are legally obligated to have updated personal data from all our clients, we will start with friendly reminders in which we urge you to update your personal data. If you refuse to do this within the timeframe given, we will first block the access to your accounts. If you still refuse, we will be forced to end our relationship in accordance with our bank’s General Terms and Conditions.
