Using itsme is secure, simple and reliable:

• Download the itsme app
  • Install the itsme app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
• Create your itsme account
  • If you have an eID issued in Belgium and you know your eID PIN code, you can easily sign up to itsme®.
  • Follow the registration steps in the app.
• Use itsme to log in or confirm
  • When you see the itsme button on our website, click on it.
  • Open your itsme app when prompted.
  • Scan the QR code shown on the screen using the itsme app.
  • Check if the action mentioned in the itsme app is in line with your request.
  • Enter your itsme code or use your biometric authentication.
  • Confirm the action.
• You’re done
  • You’ll be securely logged in or your action will be confirmed.
