About the role

We’re looking for a hands-on Procurement Specialist to join our growing team. Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you’ll play a key role in managing sourcing, negotiation, and contract processes across critical categories—primarily IT, Telecom, and Professional Services.

This is a permanent position for someone who’s eager to grow with the bank and contribute to building a modern, strategic procurement function.

What You'll Do

  • Drive or support RFPs and tender processes, ensuring alignment with internal procedures.
  • Lead supplier negotiations to secure optimal conditions in terms of pricing, terms, quality, and performance.
  • Develop and manage strong supplier relationships for both recurring and strategic needs.
  • Oversee contract execution, monitor performance, and help resolve potential disputes.
  • Provide analytical support and insights to optimize sourcing strategies across IT and indirect spend.
  • Ensure full compliance with procurement policies and contribute to meeting broader business goals.

Your Focus Areas

  • Software – Licensing, support, and maintenance (banking-specific applications).
  • Hardware – Laptops, desktops, printers, and related maintenance.
  • IT Outsourcing – Service agreements and supplier management.
  • Telecom – Infrastructure, subscriptions, and service contracts.
  • Professional Services – Plus other indirect spend categories as needed.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in indirect procurement, with strong exposure to IT and Professional Services.
  • A sharp, analytical mindset and a structured approach to solving problems.
  • A proactive, pragmatic attitude—you take ownership and deliver results.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and a collaborative, customer-focused approach.
  • Comfort in navigating a lean and evolving procurement setup—you’ll help shape it!

Your Background

  • Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • While a technical degree isn’t required, familiarity with IT products and services is a definite advantage.
  • Experience in the financial sector and knowledge of regulations like DORA are nice to have.

Languages

  • Native French or Dutch, with full professional proficiency in the other.
  • Strong written and spoken English required.

Tech & Tools

  • Experience with contract management tools is a plus—but not a deal-breaker.

Why Join Us?
You'll be part of a forward-thinking bank that values initiative, autonomy, and collaboration. This is your chance to help shape a modern procurement function from the ground up.
