Chief Executive Officer, Thierry Ternier is President of the Management Committee and Managing Director. He is in charge of Keytrade Bank's commercial and financial activities. Born in Furnes in 1965, Thierry Ternier has a degree in commercial engineering from the University of Ghent and a master's degree in accountancy from the Flemish Business School (VLEKHO) in Brussels. He is the father of two children. He started his career with Unilever as a portfolio manager. In 1991, he joined the insurance company Group JOSI as an asset liability manager and investment manager. In 1993, he became Chief Financial Officer and a member of the management committee of RealBank, the former Banque Commerciale de Bruxelles. Since Keytrade Bank's merger with RealBank in 2002, he has been Managing Director of Keytrade Bank and Chief Executive Officer.
Chief Financial Officer, Patrick Boulin is a member of the Management Committee. He is in charge of Keytrade Bank's Human Resources, Risk Management and Accounting activities. Patrick Boulin is a member of the Management Committee and Director of Keytrade Bank.
Born in Binche in 1958, Patrick Boulin has a bachelor of law degree from the Université Catholique de Louvain and a master's degree in fiscal management from the Solvay Business School.
The father of two children, he began his career as a TV and press journalist. He then worked in several different ministerial offices and in the private sector. In 1989, he joined Crelan Belgique, where he held the post of General Secretary for over 15 years, with responsibility for the group's communication, strategy and acquisitions. After managing the Crelan group's successful takeover bid of Keytrade Bank in autumn 2005, Patrick Boulin joined Keytrade Bank.
Chief Operating Officer, Marie-Ange Marx is a member of the Management Committee, Managing Director and in charge of Keytrade Bank's operations.
Married and the mother of two children, Marie-Ange Marx was born in Maastricht in 1969. She studied in Belgium and got a law degree from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). She completed her studies with a master's degree in European Community Law (LLM) from the College of Europe in Bruges.
Marie-Ange Marx started her career as a lawyer at De Backer & Associés and became a member of the Brussels Bar. In 1999, she was recruited by Keytrade's founders to take charge of the development and management of Keytrade Luxembourg S.A. In 2003, she returned to the parent company, where she would serve as Compliance Officer until her new appointment as Chief Operating Officer in January 2007.
