As HR Officer, you will be part of the Compensation & Benefits team which is part of the HR department. This departments consists of 4 domains: Compensation & Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development and Internal Communication 

You’ll be responsible for: 

  • The entire payroll process for 250 employees in total; 
  • Managing the process of salary increases & variable remuneration;
  • Managing salary proposals and contracts for new employees;
  • Providing support to our employees in all kind of hard HR related topics such as : 
    • payroll, onboarding, out-boarding, absence management;
    • Ensuring compliance with labor/social regulations and internal procedures;
  • Managing reports regarding headcount, salary, budget, absence or turnover reports as required by our different stakeholders; 
  • Creating and keeping personal files updated; 
  • Creating & updating HR procedures such as payroll, onboarding, out-boarding, absence management;
  • Ensuring compliance with labor/social regulations and internal procedures;
  • As part of our agile way of working, taking part  in a variety of HR projects like  digitalization,  process automation, green mobility, CSR, …

Education and experience:

  • Master's degree or equivalent by experience
  • At least 5 experience in payroll is required

Competences (soft and hard skills):

  • An analytical mindset, rigorous and comfortable with numbers
  • Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office, essentially Excel; 
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems (e.g. LevelFive, Mpleo) is a plus
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and people skills
  • Fluent in Dutch and good knowledge of French (written and oral)
