Mission

The main purpose of the function is to manage legal and compliance projects, setting goals and programs to support the bank strategy in these matters. 

Responsibilities

As Compliance Project Manager, reporting directly to the Head of Legal and Compliance, your main responsibilities will be to:

1. Perform analysis of the legal and compliance tools and processes and identify areas for improvement.
2. Translate legal and regulatory requirements into business processes across the bank and ensure business teams’ comprehension and training on these subjects.
3. Lead, follow up and report on projects status, decisions, issues, risks and implementation with sponsor and stakeholders (IT, marketing, middle and back offices etc.). 
4. Coordinate and ensure smooth communication between legal and compliance team and all stakeholders.
5. Ensure projects goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, safety, quality, tools, budget and team performance.
6. When needed, translate legal requirements into technical requirements for IT development and follow up the test and implementation phases.

Profile

To be eligible for this position, your profile will match the following requirements:

1. Master’s degree
2. Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience as project manager or similar position, in banking sector or financial institutions
3. Fluent in English and French or Dutch
4. Sharp analytical and organizational abilities
5. Excellent communication skills, oral as well as written, able to show diplomacy and be assertive when necessary
6. Ability to work independently, take initiative and decisions
7. Willingness to work in a fast moving and Agile organization
8. Innovating, problem solving, cooperative, and delivering results are essential
